Dear Senator Warner:
You've shown leadership and vision for gig economy workers by leading the charge in Washington D.C. to change the future of work. You have advocated for benefits to be tied to workers -- instead of their jobs -- because we should not have to sacrifice our benefits just because we want a schedule that works for us.
We, workers in the gig economy, support you in this, and call on you to take the next steps by organizing and leading a convening of gig economy workers and your fellow members of Congress in 2017 to shed light on our new working majority, and support our flexible schedules.
Our Congress, and our presidential candidates have not made our rights a priority, so we need you to pave the way for these conversations to happen on the federal level and protect our rights as gig economy workers.
